Drive west about 30 kilometres from the airport, through the village of St Aubin to the coastal area of Bel Ombre - featuring beautiful beaches against a stunning backdrop of mountains.

A secluded part of the island offering relaxation at top quality resorts with the opportunity to enjoy a great variety of watersports and golf.

From here it is possible to take a winding mountain road to Chamarel (with the famous coloured earth). Also, a visit to the Black River Gorges, an eco tourism paradise, is a must. For deep sea fishing, Le Morne is again, just a short drive away.
