Sabah

The Sabah State Museum displays artifacts and modern works of art. Gaya Street Fair is where you find local delicacies, handicrafts and antiques, as well as clothes, furniture and a whole host of other goods.

Get there by 8.00am before the day gets too hot. Your visit will not be complete unless you see Kinabalu National Park and take in the superb Mount Kinabalu views. The highest mountain in South East Asia offers a unique and varied climb. The use of an authorised guide is compulsory.

Set your eyes upon the world’s largest flower (spanning over 3 feet in diameter) at the Rafflesia Centre. Sepilok Orang Utan Centre is also a must to visit where you will learn how captive orang utans are returned back to the wild. Cool your day by going white water rafting on the Kiulu River (see Tours page) for a full day filled with adventure.
