Bedugul Lake, Water Temple and Tree Top Adventure

Take less travelled back roads to Bedugul, a cool mountain lake area around Lake Beratan, Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan. A fascinating stop at the colourful fruit, vegetable and spice market of Candikuning, then tranquil Ulun Danu Temple, uniquely built into the lake and the adjacent attractive Buddhist temple.

Stop at the Eka Karya Botanical Garden where you can experience a Bali Treetop Adventure. The Treetop Adventure Park is a unique and new way to discover and explore parts of the forest by engaging in these Tarzan-like, fun activities.

They range from treetop to treetop via ropes and nets, wooden bridges that connect one tree to another and Tarzan Jumps. Flying Fox and other adventurous activities are equally educative, entertaining, fun and challenging.

Activities can be taken individually or with family and teams, as well as adults. Children 4 years old and up can participate. (Optional Tree Top Adventure extra cost.)

Volcano, Archeological and Ubud Tour

Early morning pickup from the hotel to see Barong and Kris dance-drama offering both comedy and trance. Then travel uphill through lush rural countryside via Bangli regency to see traditional Bali villages, continue to Penelokan Kintamani (“place for looking”) with views over the crater lake, Lake Batur (set on Mt Batur).

Here have lunch at the Lake View Restaurant (not included in cost), offering panoramic views of the lake below and sometimes the smoking crater in the distance. After lunch start down, stopping at Sebatu ancient Holy Springs, nestled in tranquil and cool countryside and Goa Gajah (11th century archeological cave).

Return stops also made at Ubud and Mas, home of Bali’s master painters, woodcarvers and silversmiths.

Wander Ubud

Pick up from hotel and go inland to Ubud, known as the art and cultural centre of Bali, taking quieter roads past traditional villages. Visit a traditional house compound to see the unique Balinese housing style and the shady monkey forest in Ubud.

Then to the Royal Palace of Ubud, with it’s traditional architecture and rich cultural heritage, followed by a wander in the Ubud market and stores to barter and shop. Lunch (own expense) at one of Ubud’s attractive cafés, before meeting back at the vehicle for return to hotel.

All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Ride

Frequency: Daily - 7am or 9.30am - 1-2pm

Explore the island’s hidden beauty in a way that you’ve never done before, with the ultimate excitement in ATV. The first chapter of the adventure will be to explore a 15 acre terraced cocoa plantation.

After you have accustomed yourself to the powerful off-road machine, you will be guided on a magnificent journey on which you will be presented with numerous challenges. The route will take you alongside a plethora of winding waterways to a narrow 2 kilometre track between the rice fields to a traditional village.

Cost: Adult from $66 per person. Tandem 2 adults: $72 . Child 5-12 years. Anika Cooking Class

Bali cooking is a creative process that is simple and a lot of fun. In Anika Bali Cooking Class, you will learn the techniques and become familiar with the fresh herbs, spices, and other ingredients that make Balinese food delightfully tasty as well as nutritious and cleansing.

Over the day we will explore different ways to blend and balance the various flavours to create a stimulating array of unique tastes.


Cost: Morning class $63 per person, afternoon class $58 per person. Includes: Pick-up and drop-off (Nusa Dua, Kuta or Sanur areas), morning class includes an hour visit to traditional local market, morning/afternoon tea with traditional Balinese snacks, class time with hands on guidance in the making of eight different tasty dishes, lunch/dinner and Certificate of Participation.

Bali Elephant Camp - The Explorer Full Trek!

Pass through tropical plantations of mango, jackfruit, durian, coffee, bamboo and coconuts.

Look out for birds and monkeys as you pass through the jungle and see how other animals, such as pigs, cows and buffalos, play a part in the daily lives of farmers and their families in the small local village of Buanga.

Pass by the village temple and witness daily life. A highlight is to be invited into the home of a local farmer to enjoy a drink of fresh coconut. A unique and enjoyable trek as you look down at glimpses of the river and trek through unspoilt rice paddies on your return to the camp.
